I’ve been buy these blankets for years for friends and family because I love mine. 💕
Packs up really small and fluffs up nicely. I’m using it with a nice inflatable mattress instead of a sleeping bag. I think that’ll work great down to 50 or so, maybe a bit lower.
I’d ordered a similar sized throw of another brand from REI for double the money, same exact fill weight. After the transaction they came back with “out of stock” so I did a quick search and landed here. I’m quite pleased with the quality for the money and I know it will serve my purpose well!
We have four of these and have given several as gifts. We just ordered a couple more!!!
Great customer service!!! The best!
Thank you!!
First of all pros-chairs is super comfortable, lightweight easy to set was even able to nap on our six day hike. Con base runs a long way so uneven ground your feel like leaning forward and stance is not wide enough, especially if you’re soft grounds. My recommendation would get a base pad like HELINOX. Chairs and would rate this 10 out of 10
We bought these camping blankets for a trip to Yellowstone. The weather was predicted to be 80s during the day and 50s at night which is why our 30 degree down bags stayed at home. Well, the weather shifted drastically while we were there and we had rain and nights in the 30s for our trip. But these blankets!… while only rated to low 50s high 40s brought us through (with the addition of many layers of clothes and insulated ground pads). The quality is great, loft of the fill is very puffy after shaken out of the stuff sack. No feathers poking through the fabric. The corner loops are great for tying the blanket to the corners of our cots so it doesn’t slip off. Snaps for poncho wearing and campfire sitting were great. My only suggestions would be maybe an exterior fabric that was not quite as slippy so the blanket stays in place better without needed to tie it down AND snaps on the short side as well in order to create a footbox to snuggle your cold toes in as well. I washed the blankets with a down tech detergent in our front loader when we got home (cold, low spin) and dried low with tennis balls and they came out fantastic. Only a few squares where the down needed to be teased out and fluffed up. All in all, a great blanket and well worth the money. Will probably keep these in our truck for chilly, outdoor activities during normal life. Thanks Get Out Gear!
Cool blanket BUT I’m not sure you can call this a down blanket. Received my order and it doesn’t have enough down in it to make it “puffy’.
Get Out Gear Down Puffy Camping Blanket delivers on every claim they make on this one of a kinder " Go Anywhere" Blanket". It so lightweight and compact, Feels amazing, keeps You comfortable for all kinds of weather & super easy to fold & roll & slip inside slip on carry bag. Camping, Sports Events, Outdoor Concerts, chilling with your neighbors.
230lb lanky male here. I don't fit in regular ultralight backpacking chairs, and a I barely fit in the helinox L version. I will be swapping out my trekking poles and helinox chair for this set moving forward. The goat sticks weighed exactly as much as my current pair, and the trek chair fabric and poles weigh a little under 20 grams more than my helinox chair zero L fabric and poles. Comfort is WELL worth that penalty, and I will not be going on a trip any time soon without a chair in my pack.
This chair makes perfect sense if you are physically larger male and need a chair and poles that aren't going to fold like tissue paper. I don't think this would make sense for avere size or smaller people, there are lighter options that would perform well for those groups. For me though, I get trekking poles that I can really put my weight on when I slip, and I get a chair that fits my body without digging into my back/shoulder blades or thighs.
It is exactly what I was looking for! It will be wonderful on the plane and in motels where the blankets are not quite enough to make me comfortable.

This sleeping bag is super lightweight yet surprisingly warm. I love how compact it packs down, making it easy to bring on camping trips without taking up much space. It’s a great option if you’re looking for something that’s both warm and easy to carry!
In all seasons this is my go to pack! Recommend it’s lightweight and very very comfortable
So I had to use gorilla glue for the bottom of the pole because it completely came off on one of the poles. Kinda worried what will happen when I actually take it out on a hike.
