TrekChair V2 Highback Backpacking Chair - Get Out Gear

Hike with it. Relax in it.

You've earned a comfortable place to land. TrekChair combines a supportive high back, a functional headrest, and an adjustable recline in a chair made to go with you.

The clever part? Your trekking poles become part of the chair frame at camp, so the gear that supports you on the trail also supports your downtime.

Two jobs. One clever system.

Your TrekChair questions

What's the difference between Chair Only and the Full System?

Chair Only includes the frame and fabric seat and requires your own compatible trekking poles. The Full System also includes Goat Stix carbon fiber trekking poles designed to work with TrekChair.

Does the 1.4 lb weight include trekking poles?

No. The 1.4 lb weight is for the frame and fabric seat. Trekking poles are separate.

Can I adjust the recline?

Yes. Shorter poles give a more reclined position; longer poles let you sit more upright. Follow the assembly guide for secure setup and locking.

What if my tent also uses my trekking poles?

Our trekking-pole tent demonstration shows an approach to using the chair alongside a trekking-pole tent. Check how it applies to your tent before your trip.

Can I buy just the poles?

Yes. Goat Stix carbon fiber trekking poles are also available separately.

What does the warranty cover?

TrekChair and Get Out Gear trekking poles carry a five-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Ordinary wear and tear is not covered. Start a warranty request by emailing support@shopgogear.com. Get Out Gear pays domestic warranty shipping; international customers pay warranty shipping.

Can I return it after trying it?

Eligible domestic orders can be returned within 30 days of delivery, and lightly used gear is acceptable. Get Out Gear covers return shipping and replies by email with a link to your shipping label. International orders are not eligible for ordinary returns. See our return policy for details.
